Studies: The Master of Peace and Conflict Studies degree places a unique
focus on the pivotal role individuals
play within civil society as catalysts
for peace. Combining rigorous interdisciplinary scholarship with practical
application, the program provides
scholars and practitioners with tools to
understand conflict and contribute to
peaceful transformation. This master’s
degree offers a cutting-edge approach
in which dynamic, sustainable, and
creative solutions to conflict can be
imagined, tested and applied.
Communicating biblical truth
Heritage
Heritage is one school with two distinct
divisions. The college provides high
school graduates with general and
theological education that prepares
them for various ministry vocations
or further education. The seminary
provides college and university graduates with theological education that
equips them to plant, teach and lead
the Church or to advance the work of
parachurch ministries.
College students can earn various
certificates or degrees with a focus
on musical worship ministry, child
and family ministry, youth and family
ministry, world missions or pastoral
ministry. Pastoral students can apply
for a two-year internship that provides
both academic credit and focused, on-the-job learning about the real world of
ministry. All this occurs in a community
of students and faculty who are deeply
committed to the worldwide mission of
the Church.
Most seminary students pursue
either the MTS degree (general theological studies) or the MDiv degree
(normal pastoral preparation), but
others are studying just for personal
enrichment. Studies are done with faculty, who are scholars in service of the
Church, committed to help students
understand and communicate biblical
truth in a way that causes gospel-driven churches to flourish.
