I ENJOYED getting a free copy and most of
the contents, but was disappointed to read
John Stackhouse compare my view that
women should not be serving as pastors/
elders, a view shared by a large cross-section of thoughtful Evangelicals in Canada,
with the view that propagates the hatred
of gays [in a listing of common prejudices
about Christianity]. I understand his position on women in church leadership
based on his recent books, and that’s just
fine, but this felt like a cheap shot.
