bringing hope and rebuilding lives
This year, we have seen the nation of Syria
descend further into chaos as government
and opposition forces clash, sending hundreds of thousands of its citizens across the
borders as refugees.
Through Intercede International we can
bring hope to these people and help them
rebuild their lives. Intercede and its Jordan-based partner are helping many of these
refugees with material aid and the good
news of the gospel.
Intercede is a mission board whose main
focus is assisting indigenous (national)
missionaries working within their own or a
neighbouring culture. Established in Canada in 1953, Intercede International was
raised up by God to establish, encourage
and strengthen an indigenous New Testament witness for Christ among all nations,
by providing intercessory spiritual and
material aid to Christians who are impoverished, few or persecuted, and to encourage
a Christian witness to the international
community in Canada.
Intercede partners with 60 indigenous missions world wide, affecting people
groups in more than 60 nations. Intercede
raises awareness of the work of indigenous
ministries, sends missionaries and provides financial relief, development aid and
intercessory prayer support. Intercede also
hosts national missionary leaders to speak
in churches and at Intercede mission events.

International Fellowship of
educating, motivating, mobilizing
“Find Your purpose; Make a Difference,” is
the mission statement of Missions Fest Alberta, a member of the International Fellowship of Missions Conferences (IFMC). Our
missions festivals, held across Canada, are
family-oriented events designed to educate,
motivate and mobilize the local church community toward Christian missions.
Christ has commanded his Church to
take the gospel into all the world prior to his
return. God uses ordinary people to accom-
plish an extraordinary task. he assures us
that, though the magnitude of the task may
over whelm us, he is in control.
Sponsored by local churches, conferen-
ces feature exhibitors from mission organiza-
tions, outstanding speakers and seminar pre-
senters who focus on specific areas of need
around the world. You will be challenged to
“Find Your purpose: Make a Difference.”

Just as the true definition of health is having a body that works as it was designed to, so
the true definition of success in the Christian
life is living a life in the will of God. SCA International provides opportunities for Christian
leaders to do just that and by so doing help
change the world, influencing one child, teen-ager, adult, family or community at a time.
SCA International started (in 1906) as a
ministry to geographically isolated individuals. The world has changed a lot since then,
but people are still isolated in many other
ways. perhaps even more so now, they’re
isolated socially, emotionally and, above all,
isolated spiritually from God. Get involved.
