Heritage College & Seminary
Communicating biblical truth
At heritage we are passionate that our
students know Christ and make him known.
We equip men and women to serve Christ
with devotion and distinction. The college
provides high-school graduates with a Bible-centred education that prepares them for
ministry vocations or further education. The
seminary provides college and university
graduates with theological education that
equips them to excel in pastoral ministry
(preaching, leading and shepherding), global
missions or parachurch ministries.
The college offers a one-year certificate
in music and worship arts, biblical studies
or global adventures (with a summer mis-
sions experience). Students can also earn
a bachelor’s degree in worship ministry,
pastoral ministry, children’s ministry, youth
ministry or world missions. This occurs in an
educational community deeply committed
to the world wide mission of the Church.
The seminary offers an MTS degree (gen-
eral theological studies) and an MDiv degree
(pastoral ministry or missions). Studies are
done with faculty who are scholars in service
of the Church, committed to help students
understand and communicate biblical truth
in a way that causes gospel-driven churches
pastoral students can apply for a t wo-
year internship that provides both academic
credit and focused, on-the-job learning
about the real world of ministry.

rebranded all-religious channel
ZoomerMedia Limited has rebranded
Joytv11, its over-the-air television station in
Winnipeg, into hope TV, a lifestyle television
service devoted to broadcasting Christian
and local programming.
hope TV will present popular and in-
spirational programs from leading Chris-
tian ministries, providing biblical teaching
and life-changing programming from Joel
Osteen, Joyce Meyers and James Robison,
and from shows like Charles Stanley’s Living
Truth, 700 Club US and 700 Club Canada.
“With so many Christian ministries
looking for affordable airtime in Canada,
especially in prime time, it is a blessing to
introduce Christian viewers to meaningful
content aired exclusively on hope TV,” said
Tore Stautland, general manager, Christian
paid programming and advertising.
ZoomerMedia also operates Vision TV,
Canada’s original multi-faith, multi-cultural
specialty channel. hope TV is on point with
ZoomerMedia’s unique focus to create
content for Canada’s dominant 15.1 million
people in the 45+ demographic, for whom
access to “faith at home” is increasingly
important as they age.
“We have provided Canadians with Christian programming for close to 30 years, and
know there is a growing demand for more,”
said Beverley Shenken, Vp of programming.
