How dare John Stackhouse say that Good
Friday shouldn’t be a holiday. If it wasn’t,
a lot of people wouldn’t be able to go to
service. As long as there are Christians
in Canada, Good Friday needs to be a
Friday is the wrong day for the crucifixion, though. Passover was on Wednesday,
which is when Jesus was crucified. Thursday and Friday were days of unleavened
bread, and Jesus rose on what we would
call Saturday night.
